This is a testing page for broadcasting Kdenlive tutorials using bliptv services.
Don't worry, this page will be moved to kdenlive.org ASAP.
A few remarks:
* recordmydesktop is being integrated into Kdenlive (thanks JB).
* See this important bug about flash frame rate:
http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=352.
* I may change background to reduce file size.
Stay tuned ...
How to make a screengrab, part 1 : using gtk-recordmydesktop
Test: Screengrab is 1280x768 (DAR 4/3)
Display is 640x480. Player resolution is 640x510 (+30 vertically to display buttons).
Clicking on full-screen toggles to 1280x768
Test: another screengrab in 1280x720 (DAR 16/9)
Display is 853x480. Player resolution is 853x510 (+30 vertically to display buttons).
Clicking on full-screen toggles to 1280x720
I would vote for 1280x720, because:
* It allow to shoot HDV and downgrade it to HV720p.
This is always a good point to watch the tutorial maker.
* We can think of gathering tutorials and relase them in h264 format,
for direct download, burning on a DVD or blue-ray.
This 16:9 resolution is better for watching on a flat-tv.
* 16:9 format is really neat and a clear advantage in terms of marketing.
People understant immediately that kdenlive produces quality grabs.
I am now working on tutorials explaining how to use Kdenlive to make quality grabs.
